The location was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the town and close to all the action. The two bathrooms were a great convenience for our group, saving us from any morning rush. And the fact that dogs were allowed at no extra cost was a huge bonus for us as we never have to leave our furry friends behind!
Parking was a bit of a hassle, as expected in this area, but it was nice that parking permits were included. However, the blind in the living room clearly needed some attention as it fell down shortly after our arrival.

The location of the cottage was fantastic, being close to the train station, shops, pubs, and the harbor. It was convenient to have everything within walking distance. The cottage itself was cozy and had a cute charm to it. We loved the fact that it had a fireplace and took advantage of it by bringing wood for a cozy evening.
The noise from the local bar on Saturday night. The live music was very loud and went on until 2am, which could be bothersome for families with children.

Our stay at Threadneedle Cottage was a lovely experience. The location was absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of Whitby, making it convenient for exploring the town and enjoying the local attractions. The cottage itself had a charming period feel and the interior was modern and well-equipped. The bedrooms were spacious and the two shower rooms were a great plus. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the lounge was cozy with a wood burner that added a special touch. The value for money was excellent, considering the amenities and the prime location.
While our overall stay was enjoyable, there were a few minor issues that slightly marred the experience. One drawback was the difficulty in operating the shower to a comfortable temperature and the shower raiser pole kept falling out at the top.
